Nick Atkins is a leading restorer and conservationist who specialises in a wide range of traditional painted, gilded and decorative finishes. He has worked in this unique field for more than 40 years, gaining invaluable experience through years of study and practice both in Europe and in the USA, where he worked for nearly a decade.

Whilst in the USA, Nick brought his professional expertise to a wide range of clients, including Smith and Watson and renowned interior designers such as Mark Hampton and Christopher Norman.

Nick’s work can be found in many prestigious venues, ranging from senators’ homes in Washington to exclusive summer retreats in the Hamptons.

Nick also won the honour of royal approval for the reproduction of a range of decorative furniture in Royal Brighton Pavilion, which featured in the Smith and Watson collections.
